Making Some Progress

 I have started putting down some lines.

No, that was not an AI rendering issue : )

I think I just got carried away and forgot what number finger I was on.

Oh, Good Grief

I am working on another cartoon painting. 

This will be a 4 foot by 6 foot canvas...

Here is what I have so far...laid out in Photoshop:

 

My Brush

 I've had this brush...

...for 31 years.

It's the brush I use to make my lines...my black lines.

Through this poor brush all my fears, and hopes, and dreams get transferred to those black lines.

The Benevolent Spirit and Exuberant Optimism of SpongeBob SquarePants

I was going for sexual ecstasy when I first started designing the SpongeBob painting. I was trying to duplicate an O-face.

After some consideration, I went with this one...

And after I decided what I was going to put inside the green sponge holes, I feel that perhaps I am going more in this direction...

Spiritual ecstasy.

It's Coming Along

Wasn't totally set on what direction I was going with this painting but I think I've got it now..."I'm Ready!"

Starting a New Painting

 Here is look at my studio.

I just built a new 4'x4' canvas for a new painting. 

The title of the painting will be "O-Face". I applied 

gesso so it's ready to go. I will try and share 

my progress...
